Katrin Gerhard

Piccolo, flute, alto flute

studied flute and fundamental music education at the university of Münster and Dortmund. Took part in chamber music programs and CD-productions mostly in the field of contemporary music. Concert tours to Asia ans South America. Long term experiences in the fields of music intermediation for children. Employed as leader of the faculties woodwinds and drums at Musikschule Bochum.

Daniel Agi

Piccolo, flute, alto flute, bass flute

studied flute with Hans–Martin Müller at Musikhochschule Cologne and Robert Aitken at Musikhochschule Freiburg and at the International Ensemble Modern Academy. Engagements and projects e.g. at Duisburger Philharmoniker, Ensemble musikFabrik, Folkwang chamber orchestra and Sinfonietta Köln. Versatile activities with own ensembles in the field of contemporary music (hand werk, Das Neue Ensemble), classics (Duo Agile), jazz/pop (sepiasonic) und mixed-genre projects with sound and video artists as well as actors. Frequent engagements at renowned festivals as Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik, Zagreb Biennale and  Festival Acht Brücken Cologne. Workshops für students of Harvard University, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Singapur, Musikhochschule Dresden and others.

studied at Folkwang University of Arts with Prof. M. Rütters. Private studies with Andreas Blau, Andrea Lieberknecht, Dejan Gavric, Markus Hufschmid and Michael Faust. Masterclasses with Aurèle Nicolet, Paul Meisen and Gunther Pohl. Percussion masterclasses with Martin Verdonk, Hakim Ludin and John Santos, private studies with Poncho Valdez, Martin Hesselbach und Andreas Molino. Engagements at Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf/ Duisburg, Niederrheinische Sinfonikern Krefeld/Mönchengladbach, Philharmonia Hungarica Marl, Rheinische Philharmonie Koblenz and Sinfonietta Köln. Frequent concert and studio activities in the fields of classic, jazz and world music. Performances at Berliner Philharmonie, Münchener Gasteig, in France, Poland, Netherlands and Great Britain as well as performances on TV with the new technique of flute beatboxing in der ZDF-shows "Wie schlau ist Deutschland" mit Johannes B. Kerner and "Die beste Klasse Deutschlands".

studied flute at Wiesbadener Musikakademie with Cornelia Thorspecken and Hochschule für Musik Detmold, Abt. Dortmund with Carin Levine and Prof. Hans-Jörg Wegner. Focus on contemporary music with workshops by Jos Rinck, Wil Offermans, Robert Dick and Jeanne Baxtresser. Several chamber music programs in the fields of classic, performance, free improvisation und avantgarde.
